A Decoction of Walnut rinds Purging.
Take Walnut rinds prepar'd as above said half an ounce; Agarick (tied up) 1 dram; cloves 15 grains; Salt of Tartar half a dram; boil in Water 10 ounces to 4; to the strain'd add Elixir Proprietatis tartaris'd 60 drops; Scammony powder'd 2 grains; Oil of Aniseed, Juniper, each 1 drop; mix all for a Potion.
When Hypochondriac People are to be Purged, this is very proper Cathartic.
